Crosses of Hope Easter Card

With St. Patrick's Day passed, that means our next holiday is Easter. And this year there's still time to make cards even if you haven't started yet!
This striking card is fairly simple to create with the right tools. For the center panel, the cross is stamped with Versamark ink onto Stampin' Up!s glossy white cardstock. After letting it dry just a bit, I inked up the brayer with elegant eggplant and rolled across the glossy piece going right over the cross.

After letting the panel dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Just Believe stamp set using elegant eggplant ink. Mounting the panel on a piece of elegant eggplant cardstock adds a subtle accent.

For the card border, I used a Stamp 'n Write marker to color a little elegant eggplant in each flower well on the Framed Tulips embossing folder. Then I inserted the cardstock and cranked it through the Big Shot.

That's it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Tasha

Was hoping you'd take me through this one, Tasha. You make it sound easy. Ha! Lovely look to it, the way you use your embossing and stamping style. Congrats!
Cool cardin',
