After deciding on the white dotted background, it seemed so stark that I sponged a little pumpkin pie across it. *To get the layered top note simply cut 2 top notes and trim the front one on the dotted line.
.
For the flower image I stamped it in pumpkin pie, then took the fine end of the marker and drew along the base of each flower. A quick technique that really makes a difference in the look.
.
Here's what I used:
stamp sets: Flowers in Silhouette, Fundamental Phrases
cardstock: so saffron, pumpkin pie, whisper white, delicate dots dsp
ink: bashful blue, so saffron, pumpkin pie
accessory: 5/8" so saffron grosgrain ribbon
tools: big shot, top note die, dotted swiss embossing plate
.
Thanks for stopping by today.

love the colors and the layout!!!
Looks like summer, Tasha, bright and warm-colored. And tricky with the "notes". Can't imagine "flower bases" though. Duh?
Cool cardin',
