There's Still Time

Hi Stampers! There's still time to take advantage of the BONUS Hostess Benefits in June. Email me if you would like to have a workshop that last week of June OR gather some orders from friends and I can place them together as a workshop.
.
I have a new baby card to show today. You can have a "stampin' shower" if you know a mom-to-be that enjoys stamping or scrapbooking. Email me if you would like to schedule an event like this!

The layout for this card is via www.mojomonday.blogspot.com #89. And, if you enter a project this week there is a prize so go check it out!

This chic card starts with a 5-1/2" square whisper white base. The basic gray background is stamped with versamark polka dots from the Big, Bold Birthday* set. The basic black strip is crimped which you can see in the shadow!
.
For the buggy, I stamped the image from Fun and Fast Notes on both whisper white and pink pirouette*. I cut out the pink one and glued it onto the white panel which 2-1/2" square. The polka-dots are filled with Tombow adhesive and dazzling diamonds for a little bling. The wheels and heart are simply colored with the pretty in pink marker.
.
The flower accent is from the Birds and Bloom sizzlet set for the Big Shot. I punched a 1/2" circle out of basic gray and adhered behind the clear button which has hemp twine tied through it.
.
Bottom panel is from Bella Rose* designer series paper. I love that whole pack!!
.
Thanks for stopping by today! Tasha

*The Big, Bold Birthday stamp set, Pink Pirouette and Bella Rose paper are only available through June 30. You can see some more cards using Big, Bold Birthday in the June Cards of the Month shown in the right side bar.

Pink Chocolate Birthday

Hi Stampers! This morning I did a quick card for the color challenge on scs. The challenge was for :kiwi kiss, chocolate chip, and pink passion. However, I remembered it as kiwi kiss, chocolate chip, and pink pirouette (which I sub-ed for pretty in pink). Oh well, the card turned out nice. Maybe I should change my name to Queen of Quick!!! It seems I can't settle in to do any cards that are more time consuming. Here's my card:
For those of you with a Big Shot. This is a fine example of when to change your cutting mats. See how the top note is not a clean cut? Yes, I have some on the way so this shouldn't happen anymore! ;)
.
Have a great day!! Thanks for stopping by, Tasha

Some Play Time

I actually managed a little play time today. Since I still have all my Stampin Up! demo. kit supplies upstairs, I just sat down and tried them out. These cards are all right off the sample pages they include in the kit which is why I could create them so quickly. But what fun!
Colors regal rose, gable green, glorious green, and whisper white. Stamps are Eastern Blooms and Fundamental Phrases.
Whoops!! This one is my own creation, it didn't come on the starter sample pages. Colors are pink pirouette, baja blue, whisper white, and rainbow sherbet designers series paper. The set is Fun & Fast Notes and there is a candle stamped in VersaMark from the Party Hearty set. I used the scallop edge punch and applied stampin' pastels with a blender pen.
This card colors are real red, tempting turquoise, whisper white and apricot appeal ribbon (1/4" grosgrain). I used the poppin pastels technique so I stamped flowers from the Eastern Blooms in VersaMark then applied the stampin' pastels to the VersaMark with the little swabs.
This gift card colors are real red, glorious green, brilliant blue and whisper white. The stamps are from Big Bold Birthday and Fundamental Phrases.
.
These are all so simple to make, yet good-looking cards. And I think they could be fabulous with a little glitter here and there!! The kids are home so I have to wrap this up.
.
Thanks for stopping by! Till next time, Tasha
