These not-so-scary Halloween cards are easy to make and fun to receive. When in a hurry, punches are a stamper's best friend! Remember the owl punch? Well, turn that owl upside down, cut off the feet and you have a cute ghost.
TIP: when you want to mat a punched tag, simply punch the shape once in two different papers, cut the one for the back in half and spread it apart so it sticks out behind the front piece. Here I used the Decorative Label punch in pumpkin pie cardstock backed with an old olive green designer paper.
Banners are hot right now! And oh-so-easy with Stampin' Up!s Petite Pennants Builder Punch.
The letters are also a breeze. Simply cut a piece of black cardstock and Big Shot Multi-purpose Adhesive Sheet, stick together and run through the Big Shot using the Naturally Serif Decorative Strip Sizzlet Die. Whew!! That's a lot of words but it is really easy. The die should cut through the cardstock but not all the way through the adhesive backing. That way you can just pick of the letters and stick them on your project.
The roller wheel shown is discontinued but there are several other Halloween ones in the current Stampin' Up! catalog. I think the spider web one is my favorite.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
